Spinner is a 2 year old gelding foaled February 24, 2022. His chances of being a racehorse were cut short when he fractured a bone in his knee. It does not require surgery to heal, but will need a significant amount of stall rest. Although he will never be a racehorse, after some time, he will be able to have a second career. He is currently rehabbing here at Remember Me.
Spinner is by Spun To Run, out of Bourbon Cowgirl by Into Mischief. He was purchased for $47,000 in 2023. He was broke by Highlander Training Center and was breezing at Remington Park when he was injured in September. He will need 6 months off and then be xrayed again to make sure he has healed before he begins training for a second career.
