Olczyk, (pronounced ol check), is a 3 year old gelding by Kentucky Derby winner Nyquist and out of an Elusive Quality mare. He was injured at the track and needs a few months of rehab before he begins training for his second career. With proper rehab he should have very few limitations.
Olczyk's racing connections donated him to Remember Me so he could receive the time and rehab he needed to make a full recovery. They also were generous enough to make a donation to help with his care while he is here.
Olczyk will be receiving Theraplate and Magnawave treatments to help heal his tendon. These treatments are shown to speed the healing process and help with inflamation during the healing process. He will also get to enjoy our Equine Ice Right System boots.
